Health.
“He who has
health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.” –Thomas Carlyle. When
we mention or talk about health, many times we only say it, but we do not practice
it, and most people could recommend us to do many things, but the only one who
does it is the one who is willing to achieve it. Our body is everything, and we
have to try to have it as good as possible for a better physique and health, to
have our body in a better physical condition, and much more.
Health is one of the most critical factors for every human being since health refers to a state of complete emotional and physical well-being. Healthcare exists to help people maintain this optimal state of health. People often do not usually respect this word within us. Sometimes because of school, work, etc., we put it aside. However, when we want to have a healthy life, it does not mean having a diet or doing many hours of exercise; that is just what we are used to thinking, and it is why people soon end up breaking that healthy life that they were building. A healthy lifestyle is achieved over time, but we must be consistent. You have to follow a good plan based on healthy habits. What does this refer to? In other words, we have to start from the bottom with essential things, doing basic things like exercising for just a few minutes, trying to eat healthier or reducing food portions, having a free moment where we can enjoy what you like the most, etc. All of this starts with the minimum so that your goal is to improve it every day, week, or month, to improve your daily routine and your physical body. But one of the things that we have to take care of the most is the hours of sleep since it is one of the most critical factors for a slightly longer life and for you to look better physically on your face with a lot of energy. If we follow a healthy lifestyle, we can get more benefits during the time
Finally, I understand that there are complications, such as
the lack of time to change our habits, but that is why we start from the minimum
to know where, when, and how to do things. People who want to do something
consistently achieve it and remember that it is better to make minimal changes
than none.
From personal experience, I know that I have put my health aside due to work and school. Starting with the bare minimum of trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Most teenagers, especially in college struggle to maintain healthy lifestyles especially when they are living in a dorm and don’t eat the proper foods. When I stayed on Grand Canyon University’s campus they did not have a lot of healthy options. Most of their food that was the “healthy” choices didn’t taste as pleasing as most expected. Although, they also had restaurants on campus such as Chik-Fil-A and The Habit. As a busy college student, it might be difficult to maintain a healthy style, I know that I need to work on getting more exercise and eating healthier.
